Whether you are a novice or a seasoned player, the USTA-certified professionals at El Caballero Tennis Club will help you get in the game and work with you to reach your highest potential. Competition, camaraderie, education and fun are the cornerstones of this active program.
Our full service tennis facility features six USTA regulation hard surface courts. Instructional clinics, private and group lessons, as well as organized tournaments offer members of all skill levels an opportunity to improve their game and enjoy some friendly competition throughout the year.
In addition to the Club's dynamic Men's and Women's Tennis Leagues, there is a robust Junior's Program. El Cab's tennis staff which includes former touring professionals who played on the International circuit, is well known for their expert coaching abilities. Under their guidance and instruction, younger players learn the intricacies of the game with confidence to build skills and a lifelong love of the game.

Stephen played for the University of Minnesota and then played the tennis circuits in Asia and Europe and has been coaching ever since.
Although his first priority is to have his students have fun and to foster the love for a great game, he has also developed players that have played from the levels of junior high to college and the pros and has coached a number of players to win gold, silver or bronze at the Junior Maccabi Games.
Rajeev Datt, Assistant Tennis Professional

Rajeev has been coaching at El Caballero CC for 7 years, where he hosts ladies clinics, coaches the three junior teams and gives private lessons to players of all ages and ability levels. Rajeev has also been the head coach for the Los Angeles Pierce College men's tennis team for the past 7 years. Rajeev was named the WSC Conference Coach of the Year in 2010. In 2012, he coached the Brahmas to a #4 Regional and a #6 State finish. Rajeev also coached his #1 player to a #5 singles and #8 doubles ranking.
Over the past 22 years, Rajeev has worked for: ADR Tennis Academy, Top Seed Tennis Academy, the Warner Center Tennis Club, Lansdorp-Ducasse Tennis Academy and The Riviera Country Club. Rajeev has had the privilege of learning from coaching greats such as Bill McClain, Brian Teacher and Robert Lansdorp. Currently, Rajeev is working on getting his Master Pro rating through the USPTA, he already holds a P1 rating.

Long is an assistant coach for Pierce. He played #1 doubles and top 4 singles when he was at Pierce and qualified for the Regionals both years.
Long has a degree from UNLV in Kinesiology and has been coaching tennis for seven years. His easygoing nature and great sense of humor make him a favorite of the younger set.
